Your household might be recycling, but what about composting? Ian visits the southern hemisphere's largest landfill site – in Western Sydney – which contains a whopping 3.5 million tonnes of rubbish. If every Australian household was composting, it would reduce the size of landfill sites enormously. Ian then visits Ceres Community Farm in Brunswick East to learn how to make the perfect compost heap – and spend some quality time with worms! If households turn their plant food scraps over to a compost or worm farm a healthier planet is the result.
